CONTEST RULES

Who can participate?

Any individual with a valid international driving license is allowed to participate provided that he/she is not representing a business or a brand.

How does it work?

If you are into motorcycles and traveling, you have probably had your fair share of great experiences. To enter the Story Contest, all you have to do is to send us one or more of your own favorite motorcycle travel stories.

What is a “Story”?

There are four (4) types of Stories that you can submit to enter the Contest:

Article – Write about one of your motorcycle adventures and add a couple of images or video clips to help readers to better enjoy your story. (min. 500 words).
Video-story – A video documentary with commentary or background music (with no copyright) and a short description (Video length min 4 minutes – Description max. 300 words).
Photograph – A single image with a short description (max. 300 words).
Gallery – Multiple Photographs and/or short videos with short descriptions of each (min. 7 photos/videos – max 300 words for each description).

You may submit as many stories as you wish. Each will count as one (1) entry.

Note: Articles and Videostories are eligible only if 100% original and not published online, while for Single Photographs and Media Galleries, you may submit content that you have already shared on your blog, website, social media, or other offline/online places.

Timeline & Process

Stories can be submitted before end of July 2022 and will be published on the REVnTRAVEL website which will be launched on February 2022 (exact date to be announced) and on our Social Media.

How will the final winner be selected?

Once the deadline is reached, the top 10 stories based on website and social engagement will become eligible for the finals.

A Grand Jury composed of Sponsors & REVnTRAVEL representatives will assign a personal vote (1-10) for 3 different evaluation criteria: Destination, Content & Uniqueness.

The Story with the total highest score will win the Grand Prize.

Grand Prize & Giveaways

The Grand Prize – a fully inclusive motorcycle tour in Sri Lanka for 2, sponsored by Extreme Bike Tours – it is valid until the end of July 2025 (3 years validity). The winner may choose the date amongst scheduled tours. The prize is not convertible in cash and does not include flight tickets, visa and personal traveling insurance.

Giveaways are extra incentives offered by the Official Sponsors and will be distributed among participants on random selection basis throughout the Contest timeline.
