You have done the first step. Now it’s time to learn all the rules to the enter the Story Contest.

CONTEST RULES

Who can participate?

Any individual with a valid international driving license is allowed to participate provided that he/she is not representing a business or a brand.

If you are a business, a brand or professional motorcycle traveler and already have an established web presence with a follower base, we would be thrilled to share your content however you would not be eligible to enter the contest. For PR purposes there are other possibilities such as sponsored posts. Get in touch and let’s have a chat.

How does it work?

If you are into motorcycles and travelling, you have probably had your fair share of great experiences. To enter the Story Contest, all you have to do is to send us one or more of your favorite motorcycle travel stories.

What is a “Story”?

There are 4 type of Stories that you can submit:

Article – A written adventure with photographs and/or videos (min. 500 words).
Videostory – A video documentary with commentary and a short description (Video length min 12 minutes – Description max 300 words).
Photograph – A single image with a short description. (Max. 300 words).
Gallery – Various photographs and videos with short descriptions.

How do I enter?

At the end of this page you will find the link to the Story Submission Page. We have also sent you an email with the link in case you prefer to send your entry later on.

The story will be published on the REVnTRAVEL website which will be launched on February 2022 (exact date to be announced).

How will the final winner be selected?

Once the deadline is reached, the top 10 stories based on user preference will become eligible for the final vote by a Grand Jury composed of Sponsors & REVnTRAVEL representatives.

In short, the higher the visualizations, reactions, shares and comments on our website and social media, the higher you will rank.

Each jury member will assign a personal vote (1-10) for 3 different evaluation criteria: Destination, Content & Uniqueness.

The Story with the highest total score will win a Motorcycle tour in Sri Lanka for 2.

What is the Grand Prize Validity

The Grand Prize – a fully inclusive motorcycle tour in Sri Lanka for 2, sponsored by Extreme Bike Tours – it is valid until the end of July 2025 (3 years validity). The winner may choose the date amongst scheduled tours. The prize is not convertible in cash and does not include flight tickets and visas.
